CTTR 2007 Comments

This was my first time at Cross Timbers and I only did the half marathon but I wanted to let you know that it was a great race. It was the hardest course I've ran yet in my first year of trail running but also one of the most fun.

Just wanted to thank you for putting together a great race last weekend. I had a painfully good time and really enjoyed it. I spent a pretty comfortable night in my sleeping bag and actually witnessed the wind completely die around 11pm. It's amazing how quiet it became without the wind I've been hearing for 13 hours.

Thanks again!

Dmitry

Great race today, thanks for all the effort you put into making it happen.

Thanks

Thanks for a great run yesterday.  I really appreciate all the hard work the aid station people did (without being blow away).

Ya-al did a great job under conditions that were not the best.

Teresa… I had the best race of my life. Thank you for the hard work and coordination.  It was a great pleasure meeting you and if you need help next year putting this on.. please count me in.  I of course want to run a full marathon God willing.

We did have a wonderful time.  I was not prepared for the Trail run,  meaning I run on the street and this was much different.....Still loved it...  I do hope to be back next year regardless of the weather...  I do appreciate your hospitality.  I brought the gang with me as you can tell my kids are full of energy.  They really enjoyed the dinner and it very nice of you to feed them all.  It was perfect timing, we were tired from the drive.  Thank you.

I wanted to give you all some very positive feedback on the race last week – I had a blast.  This was my fi8rst trail run and I certainly plan to train for more in the future.

Thanks for a great race.  Very tough race and glad to honor Jay; he's a good one.

Thanks for all your efforts in putting it on; I know there are countless details.

Thank you very much for putting on such a great race on Saturday.  It was my first trail marathon and I had a blast

Also wanted to say how well the run was organized during the hurricane, especially the folks out on Juniper point...Wow. I forgot how challenging the course was, maybe I'll be ready for the 50 next year but the marathon distance was perfect this time around.

Thank again to you and all the volunteers.

Hi Teresa and everybody?

How are you? I think all of you are very tired too.

It is not easy to take care all runners all day and night.

I deeply appreciate your care and help for runners. You treat us like a mother.

It was amazing experience to run the Cross Timber Trail run and I am very proud of myself to finish 50 Miles. It was an unforgetful memories, Hills Trails, Trees, big lakes, strong sand wind, dinner, hamburger and all snacks and drinks.

I like to go back again. I will run Atoka 50K run on this Sunday. I will pass Sherman and think about you all volunteers. Please say hi all!

Thanks a lot and see you again,

Eunsup Kim

Hi John and Teresa, you did a great job with Crosstimbers again this year.  It seems each year you have a set of challenges with the weather.  I am sure glad I didn't run the 50 miler with that bad wind!!  Thanks for the hamburger!
