You did very good job to organize a great Texas 50 M race. I thank you for your wonderful hospitality and kindness for me. I really enjoyed prerace time, race time and post race time a lot.
I was very memorable experience. I cannot for get campfire the day before race. Burning wood and smell was so good. I could look up sky and see the stars. On chilly night after race, it was fun we gethered around the gas heater and drink, eat and talk about running with other runners. I like the Crosstimber run more than before. I like to run better next year.
Thank you so much Teresa, and all wonderful people who were so friendly to us!

I want to thank you very much for an excellent run this past weekend. It was my first trail run and as difficult as it was, I enjoyed it very much.
Joshua Johnson

Thank you for a wonderful event. Cheryl and I had a great time on a challenging course. Our quads are still screaming at us but our faces are smiling. See you next year.
Billy Crawford

Thank you for an excellent experience @ Cross Timbers. It is one tough cookie! I enjoyed it a lot & will be back.

I hate to be the last person at the party but I also want to add my thanks to everyone. It's a super race, well run, beautiful gut-busting trails, just a great way to spend the day. Theresa and her team do a spectacular job.
I really want to thank the NTTR volunteers for being so wonderful! I felt pampered and mothered, and the electrolytes you guys gave me really gave me some additional pep when I needed it. There's nothing better than seeing familiar faces on the trail, tending to your every need and just willing to shoot the breeze for a few minutes. I appreciated it so much! Thanks to Bill for cheering me up the hill to the start/finish line after my first 25!
And Antje, thanks for the best hug ever after my finish! Made it all worthwhile.
Looking forward to next year!

Cross Timbers was the only trail race close to Dallas when I started running, and it is still my favorite course. Having been race director for seven years, I have a special affinity for this race. Teresa has done a super job of reviving it, and I encourage all NTTR member to give it a try, at least once. They even offer a half Marathon for those that are not up to long distances yet.
Thank you, Teresa for all the effort you and your crew put into this race. Thank Antje for the good food, Linda, Bob, Laura, Bill, John, James, Tom and all the other volunteers for your time.

Thanks for a great trail run. I convinced several local (Amarillo) runners to join me this time. I appreciate your hard work and the effort of the many volunteers.
Please let me know when and where I can find results.

I just wanted to send a brief email and let you know how much I enjoyed the race this weekend. It was fantastically ran and I had a great time! Thanks so much for everything! Your volunteers were top notch and your veggie burgers were a gift from the gods.

Thank you so much for a wonderful day. You guys are incredible, I had a fantabulous time. I'm so glad I let Mariela talk me into it. She is quite the organizer..anyway I can't rave enough, I loved Crosstimbers and hope to be back!

Thanks so much for leaving the course open for me. Although I have a number of 50-milers, a 100K and a 100-miler under my belt, this course offered me the most challenge (I don’t think my bruised big toe from a recent helped me out any). It was in great shape and offered a wide selection of terrain. I would hate to run it in wet conditions, as I understand there have been times in the past…
I especially appreciate the welcoming at the finish, including the great burger! The shirts and award are quite different and will be treasured.

I agree - what a great race. The volunteers were wonderful, the trail extremely challenging, and the food perfect. Thanks to Teresa and the whole gang for putting on a great event.

Thanks again for another great race. This year there were two brand new trails runners in our group and they really enjoyed it.
My only criticism would be about the new 1/2 marathon course. I enjoyed the course, did not problems with the route, and no problems with the climb. This issue was the "traffic." Last year when I ran the 1/2M, on the return trip I only had to deal with the outbound 1/2M runners. This year, I run by the outbound 1/2M traffic on my first return to Cedar Bayou, then by the 5mi traffic out to Juniper Pt, then the tail end of the 5mi on the return to Cedar Bayou as well as the 1/2M runners outbound to Juniper Pt. It was manageable and everyone was very polite, considerate and supportive. However, I would not really want to have to deal with more traffic than there was on that narrow trail.
Perhaps the 1/2M could go back to the single out and back course. However, when they reach the final road downhill from the trails to event HQ, instead of running straight in we could take a right at the road junction and then swing around to pass through the finish in the desired direction. This could be discussed at the start meeting as well has having a sign at the junction.
Just a thought. Otherwise, thanks again. It was a very fine day!

Teresa pours huge amounts of time and resources into making the Cross Timbers trail runs a challenging yet positive experience for runners. Thanks to Teresa and her team for giving the trail running community great race experience in North Texas.
Thanks to Clive, Mike, Scott and all the nttr runners who took on the challenging Cross Timbers trails.
Special thanks to Bill, Antje, Laurie and all the volunteers; we all know races are not possible without you! I am already looking forward to next year!
Linda Boggs

I whole-heartedly second what Clive wrote. Thanks to you and everyone associated with Cross Timbers. It was my first time ever to be up there, and I had a fantastic time! (Well, the four miles I ran after realizing I'd lost my car key weren't the most enjoyable, but that was no fault of anyone associated with the race, just my own stupidity).
Thanks, again, for hosting us at Lake Texoma - it was a great day!
Mike Potter

I wanted to write and thank you for putting on another great race...
Although this is just my second running or X-Timbers, it's very apparent how much work and effort has gone into the planning. I would like to especially shout out and thank the volunteers who, in many ways, for the second year running braved chilly and windy conditions to support the runners.
A special thanks to my NTTR club-mates Laurie, Linda and the Trailgeeze for your support all over the course!
If I can once again forget how darn tough the course is I will definitely try and make it back next year...
Thanks again!
Clive Miskin

Didn't get to say Thanks for the great race yesterday....boy am I sore today!
